APHORISM SAFETY EDGE
APHORISM SAFETY EDGE is a pressure sensitive device detects when a pressure is being applied to them, for example when a person is being hit by the safety edge.
The sensor ensures maximum safety at pinching and shearing edges to prevent crushing injuries. They are mainly used in electric shutters, sliding gates, industrial doors, automatic production lines, Automatic guided Vehicles (AGVs), buses, road barriers, security and public transportations, automatic adjustable bed, automatic lifting platform, robot arms, and in many other custom applications.


Working
APHORISM SAFETY EDGE is made of conductive compound copper wires of upper and lower parts. They separate at a certain distance when not squeezed. The two parts connect with end pieces and sensor processor in a series, When t e safety edge is squeezed the two parts of upper and lower contact, which lead a circuit cycle, the resis ance a d current change. The sensor can integrate the safe y controller to achieve the settled functions.
APHORISM SAFETY EDGE sensors are made in TPE rubber that has a good resistance to ozone, weather and especially against chemicals. They are supplied together with aluminum track for the ease of mounting. Also, rubber capes are supplied to cover the ends. The safety edge sensor's assembly is divided in to two types.

Separated type
Sensitive tape, rubber profile, end piece, side plug and aluminum track.

Integrated type
integrated sensing edge, end piece, side plug and aluminum track.
